Linda Darnell again her film career in 1939. At age 16 was she was, at that time, the youngest leading lady in the history of Hollywood. She went on to star in 46 films including Star Dust(1940), Blood and Sand(1941), Hangover Square(1945), and My Darling Clementine(1946). Her final role was in 1965 starring in Black Spurs. On April 10, 1965, Linda died of burns she suffered in the house fire of her former secretary. Often described as the "girl with the perfect face", Linda died at the age of 41.
