Vintage fountain pen autograph on an album leaf with a small picture attached as Father Flanagan with Mickey Rooney from the 1938 movie 'Boys Town'. Custom double matted in brown with a vintage b/w 8x10 photo of the legendary actor. Overall fine condition with a slight smudge on the last letter of his signature and a few pin holes in the photo. Overall size: 11x14 inches. Frame not included.
Spencer Tracy became the first actor to win back-to-back Oscars for Captains Courageous (1937) and Boys Town (1938). He was nominated for San Francisco (1936), Father of the Bride (1950), Bad Day at Black Rock (1955), The Old Man and the Sea (1958), Inherit the Wind (1960), Judgment at Nuremberg (1961), and Guess Who's Coming to Dinner (1967). Tracy also had lifelong affair with Katharine Hepburn beginning in 1942 until his death in 1967.
